Cinema Noir

This cinema demonstrates how thoughtful design can overcome even the most challenging spaces. Built within the footprint of a single garage, the project faced a significant constraint from the outset: a staircase void occupying valuable floor area within the room itself.

Rather than allowing this restriction to dictate the design, the cinema was carefully planned around it. Bespoke cabinetry, integrated storage and tiered seating were developed to maximise every available inch while maintaining comfortable viewing positions and clear sightlines throughout.

Dark architectural finishes and carefully layered lighting help the room feel far larger than its physical dimensions suggest, creating an intimate yet immersive environment that rivals cinema rooms much greater in size. The result is a space that proves you don't need a large basement or dedicated garden building to create a truly exceptional home cinema.
